Astor Transistor Radios

Astor Radio Corp. was an Australian radio company that manufactured both tube (valve) and transistor radios over the course of its existence. Astor, founded in 1926, eventually bought out competitors Eclipse and Essanay. It was itself bought by Pye Electronics in the 1960s (Pye was laster bought by the Philips company).
